CoReng has been selected as one of the winning projects under the Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the Government of the Italian Republic and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Out of over 100 proposals submitted in response to the call for projects, published on 27 September 2022 and closed on 27 October 2022, only four were chosen. The selected projects cover key areas such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy, Material Science and Engineering, Water Management, Agriculture and Food Technology, as well as New Technologies Applied to Cultural and Natural Heritage.
The project is funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Egyptian Science, Technology & Innovation Funding (STDF) Authority.
